Romans 1:24-32 In these passages Paul is talking about men and women “exchanging the natural function for what is unnatural” vs 26-27. What struck me here isn’t that bit of truth, it’s at the end in verse 32 that made me pause and ponder. Verse 32 says “and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them”. Can anyone read these words and not see the parallel to the DEI movement? We as believers not only need to not practice ungodliness, we also need to call it out when we see it. To turn a blind eye to sin is a sin. For example Eli turned a blind eye to the sins of his sons, and for that God said to Samuel “See, I am about to do something in Israel that will make the ears of everyone who hears about it tingle. At that time I will carry out against Eli everything I spoke against his family forever because of the sin he knew about; his sons blasphemed God, and he failed to restrain them.”
